Vids iv41 decompressor download6/1/2023 It's been really taxing my brain trying to figure out what is wrong - google hasn't been much help in this one. Just FYI if needed, I have copied the list of video and audio codecs I have installed below. I have Windows Media Player 9, with a variety of codecs installed. I am running Windows XP professional with service pack 2 installed with the latest updates. I have also enabled all the other available streaming protocols within Tools>Options under the Network tab, yet that doesn't change anything. I have also tested the same asx file in WMA 6 but to no avail. In fact, what I also tried was to download the asx file and downloaded the wma file that it pointed to. I have no problem running wma files stored locally. It reports it as being an "C00D11BB: Cannot play the file" error - in which the help file and the MS site only gives suggestions that asx file may simply not be supported. If you typed in a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example "http:" or "rstp:")" "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. When I click on any link within a website which involves an asx file (a more recent example would be ), Windows Media Player complains that: I've been having a problem playing both asx and wma files which are streamed from the internet.
